NASA Lunar Electric Rover Simulator App Reviews

Really delicious 3D models (though a white house backdrop does feel a bit awkward, for all mankind), and a fun little game that provides a simulation of the rover driving experience with little data or real sense of purpose.

Is this thing REALLY from NASA? Its more like a weekend project targeting third grade kids. 80s style car games, always looking from the top. It may not be from NASA though The website URL is missing

Great job on the iPhone app! I thought the first NASA app was really cool but this one is really awesome. Its very challenging to complete the mission on the hardest level. Definitely recommend this FREE app to every space fan and game lover. I recommend in the next update that you use the built in accelerometer to drive the rover. BTW, NASA EDGE is really cool too!

They add obectives that are simple and pointless for a simulator and it should be in 3D not something from the 90s top down simpleness.

You drive to 7 different stations on a pretty small map. Each station gives you info about some moon base habitat/structure. Thats it. If u go to all 7, you unlock arcade mode, which is just as simple with the exact same objectives as the non-arcade mode. This app would b more fun if u could CONSTRUCT ur own moon base with the structures that NASA has developed IMHO. This is a very simple, mostly educational game that I tired of quickly. I think with some tweeks it could b a lot more fun.

Its so boring cuz u have this smalllittle map and you have to drive around and when u win tht station they just give u some stupid facts... Make the friggen map bigger and make there be obstacles for petes sake

Haha pretty cool app, good facts and 3D spin view.. The game though? Not too great, NASA, the top view is real bad, if it was 3D in or above the LER itd be cool cause you could make the terrain actually real.. so you can test the abilities of the rover; and feel like youre driving on the moon. To make it even more fun, be able to get out as an astronaut and walk around! Thatd be sweet.. But this is why its free, thanks anyways.
